There he is. Like many other wrestling promotions, AEW has a roster with enough talent that it can be difficult to keep track of them all. On occasion, you will see a wrestler take a leave from the company for one reason or another, meaning they are not around for an extended period of time. That is the case with a current AEW star, but now we know when we will see him next.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: New Way: WWE Monday Night Raw Reportedly Sees Behind The Scenes Change

Ricky Starks has confirmed that he will be making an appearance for The Wrestling Universe, signing autographs and taking photos with fans on Saturday September 22, in Flushing, New York. Starks plugged the appearance on Twitter, saying that it was a rare appearance for him. This comes amid rumors that Starks is planning to leave AEW when his contract expires, though this has not been confirmed. Starks has not wrestled for AEW since March 30.

He’s rather good. Check out what Starks has done in AEW:

Opinion: It’s pretty clear that Starks is not likely going to be back on AEW TV unless a major change takes place. At the same time, it is somewhat odd to see AEW just let him go without using him in some way on television. If nothing else, having him put someone over on the way out would seem to be a bit more reasonable. Either way, if WWE is interested in him, they will be getting quite the talented star.
