Remember him? There have been all kinds of stars throughout WWE’s history and most of them have come and gone without making any kind of a major impact. However, there are some who have made less than a positive impression or one reason or another. These are often wrestlers who leave the promotion with less than the best reputation and now one of them is returning to the ring.

According to PRWrestling.com, Velveteen Dream will be returning to the ring for New Professional Wrestling on December 14, marking his first appearance in Puerto Rico. Dream, often under his real name of Patrick Clark, has only wrestled five times since being released from WWE in 2020. Dream’s time in WWE included allegations that he had had inappropriate communications with underage fans, though WWE’s internal investigation found no wrongdoing.

Opinion: I’m not sure how well that is going to go, but Dream is certainly a talented star. That being said, there are some things that a wrestler can be accused of to the point that their careers might be over. There is a very strong chance that Dream is never going to get back in the ring for a major promotion so this might be about as big of a stage as he is ever going to get.
