Released WWE Star Taking Hiatus From Wrestling

Sometimes you need a break. This has been one of the most eventful years in a long time in wrestling and we aren’t even halfway done. Earlier this year, WWE released several wrestlers in the span of a few days, which would be the biggest story of the year any other time. Other things have happened since then but now one of the people involved in that story is back in the headlines.

There were all kinds of names leaving the company around April 15 and the question became what would happen to them next. That made for some interesting discussions, as there were a lot of possibilities with a lot of different locations available for the released wrestlers. One of them is taking themselves out of the discussion though as she is stepping away from wrestling.

Former WWE wrestler Sarah Logan has released a statement on her Instagram, saying that she will be stepping away from wrestling for the time being. Logan, 26, said that she has been wrestling non-stop since she was 17 and needed to focus on something else instead of wrestling for the time being. Logan was released from WWE in the April cuts and there was no word on where she would wrestle next.

A lot has changed in my life recently and I have stepped away from wrestling for the foreseeable future. Wrestling is all I’ve known since I was 17 so it’s time I let myself focus on other things and explored other parts of myself. My Instagram is going to be different but I promise it will always reflect me. So if you wanna take this crazy ride then buckle up because things have been moving faster than I can keep up. Opinion: The important number in this situation is 26. Logan is still incredibly young and someone who could be out for several years and come back with a long career ahead of her. Would it be ridiculous for Logan to make a comeback at 36? She is certainly talented enough to come back whenever she wants to, though if that isn’t what she wants to do at the moment, then good for her for getting away when she wants to.
