That could be worse. Injuries are a weird thing in the wrestling world as they can range anywhere from incredibly serious to non-existent. While a wrestler might be written off television due to an injury, there is always the chance that it is merely a way to advance a storyline. Now it seems that is the case again, as a prominent WWE star is actually just fine despite WWE saying otherwise.

Earlier this month, Jimmy Uso was attacked by Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns, resulting in Uso suffering ruptured rib cartilage and putting him on the shelf. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Uso’s injury is only part of a storyline and he is missing from television to enhance the story. There is no word on when he is expected to make his return to television.

Opinion: This is good to hear as it opens the door for Uso to return, possibly at Summerslam for his brother’s shot against Reigns. It makes all the sense in the world for Uso to be involved in the match somehow and it really wouldn’t be the same without him. There is major potential to the whole story, and it needs to have Uso there to really finish it off.
