Put It On The Card: Another Long Awaited Grudge Match Likely For WrestleMania 39

Is that a surprise? We are just over five weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and the card has started to come together. There are several matches already announced for the show but there are others that have yet to be confirmed. At the same time, you can probably guess some of what is coming on the card if you pay attention, and now we might know another match coming up.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio will be taking place at WrestleMania 39. This will be the first time the two have ever faced off in a singles match. Dominik turned on his father last year and joined the Judgment Day. Since then, Dominik has invaded Rey’s home on multiple holidays, as well as interrupting Rey’s Valentine’s Day with his wife Angie. There is no word on which night of WrestleMania the match will take place.

Opinion: I don’t think this is exactly a surprise after the months of build that we have seen between the two. These two have almost been destined to face off at some point and WrestleMania is as good of a place as any. The good thing is that Dominik has had the chance to build himself up and now the match should be a lot more interesting given where both men are now.
