They have a plan for that. WWE is an international wrestling promotion, which means the company is often trying to appeal to a variety of fans from around the world. One of the easiest ways is to present stars from different countries and backgrounds, even if some of them may not be presented as major stars. That seems to be the case again and now we have a better idea of why things are going in that direction.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Who Indeed: 47 Year Old WWE Star Teases Starting Something After Monday Night Raw

Last month, WWE reformed the Latino World Order, with Rey Mysterio joining forces with the former Legado del Fantasma. Since then, the other three have supported Mysterio but lost most of their matches, including some to the Judgment Day. According to PWInsider Elite, the reason for the LWO being treated this way is to build up the Judgment Day for an expected match at Backlash. There is no word on what will happen to the team after Backlash.

The LWO hasn’t been the strongest. Check out what they have done so far:

Opinion: This does make sense, but it is a little annoying to see Legado del Fantasma being treated as cannon fodder and being used to build up another team for their match. At the end of the day, the LWO was never going to be the next big thing, but it did feel like they had potential. Maybe that changes going forward, though it does not feel like they have the brightest future.

What do you think of the LWO? How long will the team last? Let us know in the comments below.
