He’s back. With so many wrestlers on the roster, it can be difficult to keep track of everyone in AEW. The company has all kinds of wrestlers doing a variety of things and sometimes a wrestler might slip beneath the radar. Occasionally this takes place when someone goes away, but it makes for a big deal when they get to come back. That is what we saw this week.

This week on AEW Dynamite, Killswitch defeated Matt Menard. After the match was over, the Patriarchy attacked Menard and Daniel Garcia, which drew out the returning Adam Copeland to chase the team off. Copeland chased Christian Cage into the back, where Cage stole a car and left. Copeland then challenged Cage to an I Quit match for the TNT Title in Toronto on March 20, with the match being confirmed later in the night. This was Copeland’s return after Cage gave him a Conchairto on February 14.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing you knew was coming and you can’t get much better for these two than a major blowoff match in their hometown. That should make for a good main event and now the setup has already been made. It wouldn’t shock me to see the two of them tear the house down as they have the talent and the story, which should lead to a heck of a payoff.
