Come on up? WWE has more than enough talent to go around, to the point that they can put its wrestlers into three different rosters. Now we have a good idea of when an NXT star might be on their way up to one of the bigger shows.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He Needs A Bit: AEW Star Pulled From Upcoming Show, Not Medically Cleared
According to Fightful Select, there are plans for NXT’s Carmel Hayes to be called up to the main roster this summer. Hayes’ promotion has been planned since before the Royal Rumble back in January. He is currently involved in a feud with Trick Williams, which may headline next month’s Stand & Deliver event. There have been discussions of the two continuing to feud on the main roster, though it is not clear when that might happen.
Hayes is a star in NXT. Check out his efforts for the black and gold:
Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as Hayes wrestled on the main roster multiple times and appeared in the Royal Rumble. It would be nice to see him getting the full time promotion as there is nothing left for him to do in NXT. Hopefully he wraps up his time in NXT on a high note and moves on up, as he is more than talented enough to hang in there against top level talent.
What do you think of Hayes? How would he do on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
