Power Team? Bobby Lashley Seemingly Reaches Out To Roman Reigns Following Bloodline Split

He’s around? The biggest WWE story of the last week saw the Usos turn on Roman Reigns to split up the Bloodline. This is the kind of change that fans have been waiting on for a very long time now and it changes the power structure in the company. Reigns is going to need some more help and now a rather unlikely source might be offering him that kind of assistance.

WWE has uploaded a video to Instagram showing Reigns after SmackDown went off the air. Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley commented on the video, featuring a telephone emoji, seemingly suggesting that Reigns call him. There is no word on where this might be leading between the two and no match has been confirmed or even suggested. Lashley returned to the ring over the weekend following a two month hiatus.

Opinion: This is something that has a lot of potential, though it is hard to imagine WWE going in this direction. Maybe Lashley is going to get into the mix for a shot at Reigns which would be a lot more logical, but that doesn’t seem to be what they are hinting at. Reigns needs a fresh opponent though, and Lashley would certainly fit the bill for one heck of a potential showdown.
