Well, it could be worse. There have been some horrible injuries in wrestling and one of the most recent was Big E. breaking his neck on SmackDown in March 2022. Big E. has not wrestled since the injury took place and there is no guarantee that he will be able to return to the ring. While he has appeared at a variety of WWE functions, Big E. has yet to wrestle again, but he is providing an update on his status.

Big E. appeared on the Battleground podcast and revealed that he recently underwent his one year scan following his neck injury. The injury was called a Jefferson fracture, which Big E. said takes longer to heal than most fractures. He said that he feels great and has no functioning issues, even to the point of being back in the gym two weeks after his injury. However, there is no word on a potential return to the ring, which requires his neck to be in better condition.

Big E. is a force in WWE. Check out what he has done during his time in the company:

Opinion: That is not the worst result, as what matters most is Big E. being able to function on a day to day basis. His health is what matters most and while it would be great to have him back in the ring, it is great to hear that he is healthy enough to have a normal day to day life. I’m not sure when or if Big E. is going to return to the ring, but things certainly seem like they could be a lot worse.
