That would explain some things. You never know when you are going to see a wrestler get injured and be forced to miss a bunch of time from the ring. Unfortunately the question in such a situation is how long someone is going to be out of action, and sometimes there is no answer in sight. This time though, there is a possibility that one injury is keeping two people out of action.
Earlier this month, Asuka was injured at the hands of Damage Ctrl, putting her on the shelf. At the same time, Asuka’s partner, Alexa Bliss, has not been wrestling on television but has been wrestling at live events. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a chance that Asuka is dealing with a legitimate injury, which could be keeping her out of the ring. As a result, Bliss is not wrestling on television until Asuka returns. This is not yet confirmed and is still considered speculation.
Opinion: That might be a bit of a stretch to figure out why Bliss is gone and I would hope that it isn’t true. Asuka’s injury keeping Bliss out of the ring is a bit of a stretch as it isn’t like they were some all time great team. There is no real need to keep Bliss off television while Asuka heals up (assuming that is why Asuka is gone) but hopefully both of them are back sooner than later.
