It’s not quite a big surprise. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, local advertising in Pittsburgh is listing Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho for the upcoming “Roadblock 2016” show on December 18. The two of them have been having issues for weeks now and a pay per view match between the two seemed inevitable.

Rollins and Jericho have fought several times in the last few weeks with Rollins defeating him by pin three times since the beginning of September. Jericho has been associating with Kevin Owens, who is rumored to be facing Roman Reigns at the same pay per view. Rollins and Reigns have been getting closer in recent weeks and have been working together on the road to “Survivor Series 2016”.

You kind of had to see this one coming. Rollins and Jericho are two of the biggest stars on the “Monday Night Raw” roster at the moment and they’ve been having major issues as of late. With the Owens vs. Reigns match looking more and more likely, it makes sense that their respective friend/former friend who might be a friend again would wind up fighting each other at the same show.
