Hopefully it isn’t too bad. There are very few things in wrestling worse than an injury to slow down a wrestler’s momentum. They could be doing all kinds of great things but then be cut down due to some kind of an injury or medical condition stopping them cold. That seems to be the case again this week in WWE for a certain SmackDown star having one of the best runs of his career.

Back in August, Roman Reigns started an amazing heel run that is still going to this day. Reigns’ turn changed the landscape of WWE and has helped to elevate several stars along with him. That has certainly been the case with Jey Uso, who has gone from a great tag team wrestler to one of the most surprisingly impressive singles stars in WWE today. That isn’t bad considering he has no history of wrestling on his own, but things seem to be on hold for a bit.

According to F4WOnline.com, Uso is currently not medically cleared to compete. There is no word on what is wrong with him or how long he is going to be out of action. Uso had announced his entry for the men’s Royal Rumble but did not appear in the match and was not mentioned. His picture was removed from the graphic for the match within the last week. Uso has not wrestled since January 15 on SmackDown.

Opinion: That’s never good to hear and hopefully Uso is back on TV sooner rather than later. Uso is one of the best and most surprising things about SmackDown at the moment as he went from a heck of a tag team to a complete hidden gem while wrestling on his own. If nothing else, it shows an extra benefit from the Reigns angle as Uso probably never would have gotten this chance without Reigns in the first place.
