Her call. There have been quite a few changes in WWE since the company was officially sold to Endeavor earlier this month. The biggest of them all so far saw several wrestlers released from the company. Being let go from WWE is going to be a very rough day for a lot of wrestlers involved, but it turns out that in at least one case, it is exactly what someone wanted.

One of the wrestlers released from WWE was Yulisa Leon, who has spent most of her time in the company in NXT but has wrestled on SmackDown. In a new post on Twitter, Leon has revealed that she requested her release from the company, which was granted last week. Leon did not reveal the reason for her request but said she would explain in the future. Her most recent match took place on August 1.

Opinion: This is something that happens from time to time and it can be very interesting to see a wrestler go the opposite direction every so often. If Leon didn’t want to be in WWE anymore, it makes sense to try and get out. In this ase it worked, as I can’t imagine Endeavor was complaining about getting to dump another salary, especially as they are trying to cut costs where they can.
