That’s a little different. We are in a different world on SmackDown these days as the combination of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have taken the show over. The new pairing has already risen up to the top with Reigns winning the Universal Title in his first match back after five months. Reigns and Heyman are an instant smash and it turns out that there are some special plans for them.

Part of the appeal of the relationship is how fast Heyman was allowed to make Reigns into a villain. The Reigns heel turn is something fans have been wanting to see for a long time now and for we are finally seeing it take place. Heyman being paired with Reigns makes him an instant villain and what might make it even more interesting is how much differently things are going to be presented.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan for the Heyman and Reigns pairing is to have Heyman indebted to Reigns for saving his career after Brock Lesnar left the company. The idea will see Reigns having brought Heyman back in when Heyman had nothing else to do with wrestling, meaning that Reigns will be the one running everything at Heyman’s advice. This is in contrast to the friendship between Heyman and Lesnar, which was presented for years.

The two of them have started well. Check out Reigns and Heyman together:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think of something like this but it could be an interesting way to go. Above all else though, Heyman and Reigns are already a smash hit and they haven’t even been together for a month yet. I’m not sure what they are going to do in the future but they have a lot of things to explore in the coming months if not years. The two of them are working well together and if that continues, everything will be fine for a long time to come.
