Paperwork Problem: AEW Star Currently Out Of Action With Visa Issues

He needs some time. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to miss time from the ring and some of them are a lot more serious than others. Occasionally these are reasons beyond a wrestler’s control and even if they are physically ready to go, they might not be able to do so for a time. That is the situation again with an AEW star and now he is missing for reasons he cannot immediately fix.

According to Fightful Select, AEW’s Kyle Fletcher is currently out of action due to visa issues. Fletcher, the reigning Ring Of Honor Television Champion, last wrestled on January 31. It is not clear when he will be allowed to return to the ring but there is nothing to suggest that he will have to wait whatsoever as soon as his issues are sorted. The visa issue reportedly sidelined a planned title feud with Ethan Page.

Opinion: This is one of those things that can be quite the mess, as the visa system can be incredibly complicated and slow no matter how much a wrestler might be on top of things. Hopefully Fletcher gets back sooner than later, though it’s kind of amazing that he became the champion despite knowing how soon this might happen. It doesn’t exactly say much about the title’s status, as has been the case too often before.
