They’re both in. We are less than a month away from Backlash, which will be a rare instance of WWE taking one of its premium live events outside the continental United States. WWE confirmed the first two matches for Backlash this week on Monday Night Raw. First up, the Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and the Usos) will be facing Matt Riddle/Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens in a six man tag match. Second, Cody Rhodes will face Brock Lesnar as a result of Lesnar attacking Rhodes two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw. Backlash is set for May 7 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Opinion: These are the matches that need to be added to the Backlash card to really start setting it up. They have a long way to go before the card is set, but these two matches will get them a long way. Once you add in a likely tag match featuring Bad Bunny/Rey Mysterio vs. Judgment Day, you have a very strong top of the card. Getting these matches set was a good start and now WWE needs to keep it going.
Who do you have winning these matches? What else should be added to the card? Let us know in the comments below.
