He worked through it. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen in wrestling as you never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf for a good while. This can change a variety of things for a promotion as it can derail plans out of nowhere. Other times though, a wrestler is able to tough it out through an injury and that was the case on the big stage.

On WrestleMania 39 Night Two, Edge defeated Finn Balor in a Hell In A Cell match. Balor has since revealed that he suffered a grade two tear of his calf muscle on the March 10 on SmackDown. According to Balor, the estimated recovery time for such an injury is 6-8 weeks the WWE medical team worked him especially hard to get him ready in about three weeks. There is no word on if Balor will be missing any more ring time due to the injury.

Opinion: That makes the Cell match more impressive as Balor worked so hard to make one of the biggest matches of his career. Balor did his thing well enough and even did one of the biggest spots of the match without any noticeable problem. He is especially talented and it was nice to see him getting that kind of a spot on the most important match of the year. Now if only WWE could keep doing things with him.
