That’s a long time. There are all kinds of injuries in the wrestling world and some of them can be quite serious. When you see someone get hurt, one of the most important questions is how long they will be out of action. This can range anywhere from days to several months and all points in between. Now we have an idea of how much longer someone is going to be out of action.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not Yet: WrestleMania Title Match Delayed After Controversial Finish To #1 Contenders Match

Last week on SmackDown, Kofi Kingston was injured, resulting in him being removed from a fatal five way #1 contenders match for the Intercontinental Title. Kingston revealed that he suffered some sort of foot injury, which according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, took place when Drew McIntyre dove onto him during a brawl. The injury was described as a “freak accident”. Kingston is expected to be out of action for five weeks, meaning he will miss WrestleMania 39.

Kingston is awesome when he is healthy. Check out what he can do when he gets back:

Opinion: You never want to see something like this happen as Kingston is still one of the more popular people on the SmackDown roster. Kingston was set to be in a #1 contenders match so there is obviously some value to him. I could go for seeing Kingston getting to do some more things on his own but watching him with New Day is still quite a bit of fun. Hopefully he gets back sooner than later, as any time away from the ring is too long.

What do you think of Kingston? What do you want to see him do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
