Please don’t be bad. There are some wrestlers who seem to be snake bit. No matter what they do, they can’t seem to stay healthy and it often brings their careers to a halt. Sometimes these injuries are little more than minor ordeals which can be dealt with in a few weeks. Other times though, they suffer one major injury after another and the time off piles up in big chunks. One of the latter may be hurt again.

There are very few names in NXT as popular as Tommaso Ciampa. This is all the more remarkable when you consider how much of a hated villain he was just a year ago. His feud with Johnny Gargano is the stuff of legend in NXT and after he missed several months with a neck injury, Ciampa returned to a hero’s welcome. Now though, things might be put on hold one more time.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Ciampa may have been injured this week on NXT. Ciampa wrestled in the main event, a six man tag where he teamed with the Bromissions against the Undisputed Era. After the match was over, Ciampa was being checked out at ringside. Before the match began, there was a brawl on the floor and Ciampa seemed to be favoring his knee. There is no word on what kind of injury he may have suffered. Ciampa is currently scheduled to challenge NXT Champion Adam Cole at Takeover: Portland.

Ciampa was in action in the main event. Check out how he looked:

Opinion: Please tell me this isn’t true. Ciampa is the kind of wrestler that NXT can’t bare to lose at the moment. He missed the better part of a year each due to knee and neck injuries and now there is the chance that he could miss even more time. Granted this might be a more minor injury, but anything is scary in a situation like this. Hopefully Ciampa is ok, but it might be a day by day basis.

What do you expect from Ciampa. If he can’t face Ciampa, who will? Let us know in the comments below.
