That’s a terrible one. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never want to see someone be put on the injured list for any amount of time. Unfortunately some of the injuries you will see in wrestling can put someone out of action for several months, if not longer. That was the case last week, and now unfortunately we know just how bad things really are.

This week’s NXT featured a main event of Shotzi challenging Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Title. During the match, Shotzi suffered a knee injury, resulting in the match being stopped. Shotzi has since confirmed that she has suffered a torn ACL, resulting in her being out of action for about nine months. In the Instagram post announcing the injury, Shotzi thanked the fans and talked about using the time off to recover both physically and mentally.

Opinion: Geez that is terrible to see as you never want anyone to get hurt, let alone that kind of an injury. Shotzi is someone who has come a long way in the last few months and now she is going to be out of action for most of the rest of the year. It will be great to have her back, and hopefully she can use this time to take care of any issues she might have in addition to healing her knee.
