It could be awhile. You never know what kind of damage you might get from any injury in wrestling. No one is ever going to be completely healthy due to the nature of the business, but when the injuries are more severe, a wrestler can be out of the ring for a very long time. That seems to be the case with a current WWE superstar and it might be even worse than expected.

According to Sean Ross Sapp on The List And Ya Boy podcast, Nia Jax is looking at a year out of the ring, though she could be back by the Royal Rumble in January if everything goes well. Jax is currently awaiting surgery to repair a double ACL tear and has not wrestled since WrestleMania 35 earlier this month. There is no word on when Jax’s injuries originally took place.

Jax is a beast when she’s healthy. Check out what she can do at full strength:

Opinion: Egads that’s a rough one. Jax’s career is going to take a heck of a hit because of this as missing a year is the kind of thing that changes everything. It’s hard to say what she’s going to be doing when she gets back because just getting back in the ring is different than being your old self. I’m not a big Jax fan but this is the kind of thing that no one deserves to have happen to them.
