That’s a bit dangerous. Injuries can happen to any wrestler at any time and unfortunately there is not much that can be done to prevent them. What matters the most is getting someone back to full health as soon as possible, though that can take quite a bit of time. Now we know a bit more about a recent injury and things were a bit more complicated than they seemed.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Congratulations! SmackDown Superstar Welcomes New Son

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson was checked on at the end of the show, following a tag match. Danielson reportedly suffered a broken orbital bone and has since undergone surgery to repair the damage. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the injury did not take place during the tag match but rather the previous week at Collision during Danielson’s match against Andrade El Idolo. The injury seemed to take place when the two collided in the ring. Danielson wrestled in the tag match with the injury, though without knowing its severity. There is no word on when he will be back in the ring.

Danielson is a tough star. Check out the two matches, plus one on better terms:

Opinion: That does not sound good and thankfully Danielson is out of the ring so things can start healing up. At the end of the day, that is a horrible injury and the kind of thing that you do not see happen very often. Danielson being in the ring even after the injury makes things even more out there but hopefully he can get back in the ring healed up and ready to go one more time.

What do you think of the injury? What is next for Danielson when he returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
