The thing didn’t go well. Earlier this week, WWE went back to Saudi Arabia for their latest show from the country with Super ShowDown. As usual, the show was not the best received in the world and there was little positive to be said about the show. The wrestling was not the strongest in the world and as it turns out, there were some negative reactions to the show behind the scenes as well.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, two WWE sources were asked about the Saudi Arabia trip. The sources described the trip as a “disaster” and a “train wreck” respectively. The show was controversial before the trip was made, with several wrestlers either declining to go or not being allowed to perform due to a variety of reasons. Then the main event itself was not well received, with Goldberg being injured during the match.

There might have been a few highlights. Check out one of the better things on the show:

Opinion: Based on the reaction to the show, it’s hard to imagine the reaction being anything but this. The show was not good on its own and with all the headaches and the rather bad position the company as a whole is in at the moment, what was good out of this? I mean other than the huge payday for the company of course. WWE is in a bad place right now and this made things even worse.
