The scars of war. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and of course some of them are worse than others. On the bad end, you can be put out of the ring forever with some kind of a career ending situation, but there are others which look very painful but might not be as long term damaging as others. Those can happen quite often in a contact sport and it seemed to be the case this Sunday.

Aleister Black is the kind of wrestler who can do a lot of things in the ring and make them look awesome. He has a very unique look with all of his tattoos and the outstanding striking game makes him all the more deadly. That being said, he hasn’t been used very much since being brought up from NXT. He was in action at the last pay per view of the year though and came out of it a little worse for wear.

On Sunday Night at Tables, Ladders And Chairs, Black was in action against Buddy Murphy. During the match, Black received a bloody nose, with Jerry Lawler repeatedly saying that he thought the nose was broken. The injury did not cause any noticeable issues for Black and the match was not stopped. There is no word on how injured Black is or if he will miss any ring time. Black went on to win the match with Black Mass.

They beat each other up pretty well. Check out Black vs. Murphy:

Opinion: That’s the kind of injury that happens to everyone at one point or another and has to be expected. The match was heavy on striking with both guys hitting each other rather hard. There was almost no way that someone wasn’t going to come out of it a little banged up and thankfully it wasn’t something more serious. Hopefully Black doesn’t have to miss any time because he looked awesome in the match.
