Ouch Again: AEW Star Reveals New Details On His Injury Status

I’m not sure if that is better or worse. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never know when someone is going to be out of action for a long time. Someone can get hurt at any point and miss any amount of times. Occasionally the injuries are going to build up over time and unfortunately that seems to be the case again with a modern star.

Last month, AEW’s Kyle O’Reilly was put on the shelf with an injury. During an interview with This is VANCOLOUR, O’Reilly gave an update on his status, revealing that the issue, which he has not specified, has been a nagging issue for years. O’Reilly does not know the length of time he will be out of action, but he will know more about it soon. There is no word on what happened to force O’Reilly to miss ring time.

Opinion: This is the kind of update that doesn’t offer many more details but it does put things in a bit more context. O’Reilly has been banged up for a long time now and at some point he reached a level where he needed a break. That is going to happen to everyone eventually and while it is not great to see, I would much rather have him miss some time before he gets to the point where he has to miss a lot more time.
