According to Fightful Select, Punk was scheduled to face Ricky Stars at All Out, likely in the main event. The two have been feuding in recent months and have traded wins. Starks had his wrestling license suspended due to an attack on Ricky Steamboat following a loss to Punk but he would have been back in time for All Out. As of this writing, Starks has not been announced for a match at All Out.

Opinion: That’s quite the shame, especially for Starks, who had nothing to do with what happened. He is likely out of one of the biggest match of his career and that is a shame given when he could have gotten to do. Hopefully Starks gets another chance to do something good and whatever does get the main event slot isn’t drowned out by chants for Punk, who likely won’t be there.
