Put it on the card. WWE has been expanding its international premium live events schedule in recent years with several more events taking place. That will be the case again this year with four international events currently scheduled. As a result, WWE will attempt to make those shows feel even bigger than usual, and that is going to be the case again with a new match added to this weekend’s show.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Discussing Major Celebrity For WrestleMania 40

WWE held a press event for this weekend’s Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia. During the event, it was announced that the Kabuki Warriors will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell on the event’s Kickoff Show. WWE has mostly done away with Kickoff Show matches though they are occasionally brought back for international events.

This could be big. Check out the press event, plus the two teams in action:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes the show feel a bit more important. It isn’t likely to be a major match and the titles changing hands does not feel likely, but giving the fans a little something extra to help warm them up is not a bad thing. It helps that the fans are already going to be hot for the event, but this is just going to make things feel that much better.
