This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes mentioned that he was a SmackDown wrestler before offering to help Jey Uso in his match later that night. Uso politely declined, with Rhodes saying “until we yeet again” to wrap up the segment. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the point of the promo was for Rhodes to make it clear that he will not be on Monday Night Raw as often going forward as he is a member of the SmackDown roster. It also allowed him to endorse Uso on the way out. Rhodes has appeared on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown since WrestleMania 40.

Opinion: That makes sense as WrestleMania season is over and it is time to get things back to normal. Rhodes is going to be the biggest star anywhere he goes and it would not make sense for him to take the spotlight away from Damian Priest and everyone else on Monday Night Raw. What do you think of the idea? Who should Rhodes face next? Let us know in the comments below.
