They’re back! While there are all kinds of talented stars on the WWE roster, it is not the only place in the world to see good wrestling. In addition, there are a variety of other wrestling promotions, including some that survive on a smaller scale. These companies might bring in former prominent names for a one off appearance and now another former WWE team is making their way to the independent circuit.

Former WWE star Simon Gotch has announced that he and former partner Matthew Rehwoldt, better known as Aiden English, will be reuniting as the Vaudevillains on the independent circuit. The team has not wrestled together since April 2017 and no matches or promotions have been announced for the team. There is no word on how long their reunion will last.

The team has had their moments. Check out their time in WWE:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that could make for some interesting moments and nice nostalgia. The team might not have been the top stars in WWE but they certainly did some good stuff while they were around. Hopefully they get to have a nice reunion, even if it doesn’t lead anywhere long term. It’s nice to have something different out there and the Vaudevillains fit the bill.
