One More Time: WWE Legend Makes Surprise Return, Meets Triple H Backstage At Monday Night Raw

Welcome back. There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling show work and several of them have nothing to do with the actual wrestling. Those are the people who help make the fans’ experience better along the way, which can be easier said than done. Now one of them is back in WWE after a long time away, at least for a quick appearance.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a cameo appearance by WWE Hall Of Famer Jesse The Body Ventura, who appeared backstage and hugged WWE CCO Triple H. Ventura did not speak during the appearance and there is no word on if he will be making any other appearances. This comes after Ventura had recently said that he was in negotiations to return to WWE on a Legends deal. He last worked for WWE full time in 1990.

Opinion: Maybe it’s the old school WWF fan in me but there is something so cool about seeing Ventura coming back to being WWE just for once. You don’t see that kind of thing very often as it has been over thirty years since he has been around full time. While this is not likely going to be anything involving Ventura around even somewhat regularly, I’ll take a one off appearance just for old times’ sake.
