He’s due. There are certain wrestlers throughout WWE’s history who have become the biggest names the company has ever seen. Those wrestlers are the people that WWE wanted to have around as often as possible but at some point even they have to go away. That is going to be the case again next year but now we know when we will be seeing one of them next.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not As Planned: Why WWE Made Changes To Post SmackDown Plans

Earlier this year at WWE Money In The Bank, John Cena announced that 2025 will be his final year as a wrestler. Cena has announced that he will be making over thirty appearances in the year and wrestling his final matches at each major event. In a new interview with Complex, Cena confirmed that he will be appearing on the first Monday Night Raw on Netflix. Cena said that he believed the date would be January 6 but it has not been confirmed. There is no word on if Cena will be wrestling on the show.

You might remember him. Check out some of Cena’s time in WWE:

Opinion: This is one of those things that is still almost hard to fathom. The idea that Cena, who has been a focal point of WWE for most of the last twenty two years, will no longer be around at all is quite the change. Cena has not been around very often lately, but there was always the chance that he would be. Having Cena show up on the first Monday Night Raw of a new era makes sense, but it could also be the start of quite the emotional ride.

What do you think Cena will do on the show? Who should his final opponent be? Let us know in the comments below.
