Welcome back! Retirement is a tricky subject in wrestling as you never know when someone is actually going to be done in the ring. While a wrestler might be away from the ring for a very long time, there is always a chance that they could make a comeback in one way or another. Now a former WWE star is announcing that he will be making just such a return.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: LOOK: Former WWE And AEW Star Sporting Drastically New Look

Former WWE star Matthew Rehwoldt, better known as Aiden English, has announced that he will be taking wrestling bookings on a limited basis through the end of the year. Rehwoldt announced that he is available for:

• Wrestling
• Meet & Greets
• Commentary/Host
• Manage/Mouthpiece

Rehwoldt, 35, has not wrestled since May 14, 2022 and has primarily been doing commentary on Impact Wrestling. He did not say if he would be continuing to wrestle after the end of the year or if he would be retiring.

Rehwoldt is a unique star. Check out some of his efforts:

Opinion: It’s nice to see Rehwoldt back in the ring, or at least active, as he is only 35 and always felt like he could be a little bit more. If nothing else, letting him show his unique set of skills to some people who might not have seen him before is a great thing as he really was different. Having that many options is great to see and now we might get to see what else he can do in the industry.

What do you think of Rehwoldt? How could he be best used? Let us know in the comments below.
