This week, Steveson announced that he is returning to amateur wrestling. Steveson has registered for the US Open later this month, which could be used as a stepping stone for the 2024 Olympics. There is no word on what this means for his WWE career or when he might make his in-ring debut. WWE was not mentioned in the announcement.

Opinion: Steveson is still very young at 22 years old, but it is coming off more and more like he has no interest in professional wrestling. At the very least, it seems fairly low on his priority list as he seems willing to wait at least another few months, if not more than a year, before he gets started. What do you think of Steveson’s delay? Will he be a WWE star? Let us know in the comments below.
