One More: Former WWE Champion Making Surprise Return To The Ring

Welcome back! Retirement is a confusing concept in wrestling as wrestlers might step away from the ring for a very long time before coming back to the ring one day. It can make for a very interesting situation when a wrestler wrestlers again after a lengthy hiatus, even if it is on a lower level. Now we will be seeing another former WWE star making her return to the ring.

Booker T.’s Reality Of Wrestling promotion has announced that former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox will be returning to the ring for their Summer of Champions IX event on July 15. There is no word on who Fox will be facing at the event or if she will be wrestling for the promotion again. This will be Fox’s first singles match 2019, though she did appear in the 2021 and 2022 women’s Royal Rumbles.

Opinion: Fox returning to the ring is interesting, as she is only 36 years old and could have another run in her. That being said, Fox is a product of a different generation of women’s wrestling. I’m curious to see what she might be able to do in a return to the ring, as there could be an opening for her to try something new. For now though, it is a nice bit of nostalgia and that might be all it is supposed to be.
