He’s a big one. There are certain wrestlers who get your attention due to nothing more than how they look. Something about them is so striking or imposing that it is impossible to not pay attention to them. That can be rather beneficial to any star and it has been for several over the years. Now one of the more prominent of his generation is looking to return to the ring.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re Working On It: Multiple AEW Stars Missing From Television For The Time Being

AEW’s Paul Wight, formerly known as the Big Show in WWE, was interviewed by Metro UK and spoke about a planned return to the ring. Wight said that he had been planning to return but had some setbacks due to injuries, including a knee replacement last August. With that out of the way, Wight, 51 years old, revealed that he is hoping to return to the ring in March. There were no details on who or where Wight would wrestle. Wight has only wrestled four times in about a year and a half with AEW, last wrestling in March 2022.

Wight is a force of nature. Check out some of his more physical times:

Opinion: This is one of those drawing cards that you get to see every now and then as Wight is still a special attraction. He is a legend in his own time and someone who can appear in a match and feel like an attraction. If nothing else, letting the fans get to see someone they haven’t seen in a long time might help draw in more fans, which could make for a bigger crowd.

What do you think of Wight wrestling again? Who would you like to see him face? Let us know in the comments below.
