On The Team: Major Update On Jade Cargill’s WWE Status

She’s in. There are certain wrestlers who make an immediate impact and you know exactly what you are getting when you see them. That can make for a huge deal as they can shake things up in a hurry. Every so often one of them will show up and leave the fans wondering what they are going to be doing next. We saw that earlier this year and now we have a big detail on their future.

Earlier this year, Jade Cargill made her in-ring WWE debut in the women’s Royal Rumble, lasting until the final three entrants. Cargill has not wrestled since then but has made appearances on television. This week on SmackDown, it was announced that Cargill has officially signed with SmackDown and will be making her first appearance as a member of the roster next week. There is no word on when she will be returning to the ring.

Opinion: This is almost long overdue, as Cargill has barely been around in the weeks since the Royal Rumble. It would be hard to imagine that she isn’t in the ring at WrestleMania but that is going to need to be set up. We very well could be seeing that started next week, though I’m not sure who she is going to face. For now at least, a tease is better than nothing and now we get to see where this is going.
