It’s on. We are about two weeks away from WWE’s return to Europe with Clash At The Castle in Glasgow, Scotland. The show will feature a main event of Drew McIntyre challenging Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre is a native Scotsman, but it turns out that he will not be the only person from Scotland challenging for a title at the show.

WWE has announced that Piper Niven will challenge Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship at Clash At The Castle. Niven, from Scotland, teamed with Chelsea Green to defeat Bayley and Naomi in a tag match this week on SmackDown, with the title match being announced after the show went off the air. Clash At The Castle is set to take place at OVO Hydro on June 15.

She’s a force. Check out Niven in action:

Opinion: This makes perfect sense as Niven has been built up fairly strong in recent months and putting her in a title match in her native country is not a bad idea. I could go for seeing her win the title, only to drop it back to Bayley shortly thereafter. There is nothing wrong to catering to the local audience and that seems to be what WWE is doing here.

What do you think of the match? Who leaves with the title? Let us know in the comments below.
