On The Card: Major Grudge Match Set For WWE Crown Jewel, Triple H Himself Makes It Official

Put it on the list. We are just over a week away from WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and the show’s big attractions continue to be the Crown Jewel Title matches. Those matches are primarily for bragging rights, meaning the show is going to need something else added. That was the case this week, as a new grudge match was made, albeit with some input from the boss.

This week on SmackDown, Randy Orton called WWE CCO Triple H to the ring and requested a match with Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel. Triple H had to be convinced to make the match, citing worry of what Owens would do to Orton. Eventually Orton and the fans were able to convince Triple H to make the match. This comes after Owens attacked Orton on SmackDown earlier this month. Crown Jewel takes place on November 2.

Opinion: This is where things get more interesting, as Owens and Orton have some history together and quite the reason to see each other fight. That is something that will work almost every time and this time they even did something different to set it up with the Triple H influence. Owens is feeling like the next big villain on SmackDown and a huge showdown with Orton should work well.
