On The Card: Grudge Match Officially Set For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

That’s another one. Later this week, WWE is bringing back Saturday Night’s Main Event after a sixteen year hiatus. The show is already getting quite the push with a pair of World Title matches set for the show. With that already on the card, there is still room for some more on the show and this week, WWE filled in one of those spots by adding a grudge match.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre returned and attacked Sami Zayn to end the show. This week, McIntyre revealed that he attacked Zayn for siding with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. As a result, Zayn spoke to General Manager Adam Pearce and has had a match with McIntyre set for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Saturday Night’s Main Event is set for December 14 on NBC.

This could be big. Check out the history between the two of them:

Opinion: This makes sense as it is a feud that deserves some attention on a big show. McIntyre and Zayn have a long history together and it should be interesting to see them getting to go at it. McIntyre has been one of the best things about WWE in 2024 and Zayn can do some great things at any given time. That should make for a good show and WWE has certainly set one up.
