That’s a horrible one. There are certain injuries that fans have learned to dread over the years as they can be absolutely devastating. Some of them are going to result in months if not more than a year away from the ring and you never want to hear of them. Unfortunately that is the case again, as an NXT star has been put on the shelf for a rather long time.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: LOOK: Edge And Christian Cage Reunite In Cool Moment

This week on NXT, Sol Ruca was attacked by a mystery assailant backstage. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was due to Ruca suffering a torn ACL which will take her out of action for several months. This is the same angle that was used to write off Nikkita Lyons with the same injury and the assailant has yet to be identified. There is no word on when Ruca was injured, but her most recent match took place on April 14.

Ruca is incredibly talented. Check out the attack and her in better days:

Opinion: This is terrible to hear as you never want someone to get injured in any way, especially something this bad. Ruca is a heck of a prospect and that Sol Snatcher finisher is something that is going to get her on the highlight reels for a long time to come. If she can still do that when she gets back, Ruca has all kinds of potential to be one of the biggest stars in NXT.

What do you think of Ruca? How far can she go when she returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
