It might be a bit. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you don’t know just how bad things can be. You never know how long someone might be out of action and the question becomes how long someone is going to have to wait to get back in the ring. Unfortunately a prominent star could be out of action for quite a while, even with a major show coming up.

Over the weekend at AEW Worlds End, Adam Cole was revealed as the Devil, with his henchmen attacking his former friend Maxwell Jacob Friedman to end the show. However, Cole is still recovering from ankle surgery last year. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cole is not expected to be cleared to return to the ring by March 3’s Revolution pay per view, though there is still the chance that he could be ready by the show.
Cole is quite the star when he’s able to go. Check out his time in an AEW ring:
Opinion: It’s hard to be surprised by this kind o a timeline, as Cole had major surgery just a month or so ago and that is going to leave him on the sidelines for a good while. I’m not sure when he is going to be able to have his big showdown with Friedman. Right now though it seem like we could be waiting a pretty long time before we finally get to see the match.
What do you think of Cole? How will his match with Friedman go when it takes place? Let us know in the comments below.
