Tis the season for awards. We’re in a new year now and that means it’s time to celebrate the year we just finished. As with so many other cases, NXT is looking at its best and brightest of 2017 with a collection of awards. These are held every year but there are some new categories this year for fans to vote on. We’ve got you covered on the categories and nominees.

WWE.com has released a list of nine awards with nominees for each. These include standard categories such as Takeover of the Year and Male/Female Competitors of the Year, but also includes new categories such as Breakout Star of the Year and Rivalry of the Year. Here are all of the nominees:

Opinion: I can dig these things and for once, WWE isn’t missing any major nominees (save for Bate vs. Dunne from “Takeover: Chicago” but that’s a pretty good average otherwise. There are a lot of different ways you could go with any of these but the important thing is that NXT seems to have a bright future, which is more than you would have expected after all the names that they’ve lost recently.
