Not on the watch. WWE has been going through some major changes since the new ownership took over the company, which has included a new way of presenting its content. Back in August 2022, WWE announced the closure of NXT UK and the future launch of NXT Europe, though the latter has never actually started. The move was said to have been put on pause until WWE’s new owners took over, but nothing has happened since then either. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that while he had originally heard about the idea of NXT Europe, nothing has come of it yet and there has been less talk about it in recent months than ever before. While it is not certain, it does not appear that the project will be launching anytime soon, if at all.

Opinion: Is this really shocking? At the end of the day, there has been pretty much no movement on this in about two years. If something was going to happen, there is a good chance that it was going to have taken place by now. NXT Europe was an interesting idea that doesn’t seem likely to happen, and really that might be better. There was only so much interest in NXT UK, so how much would there have been in an expanded version?
What do you think of the concept? Where should another NXT launch? Let us know in the comments below.
