Odd Man Out: Update On Danhausen's AEW Status

Where art thou? There are a lot of talented wrestlers on the AEW roster and the company owes quite a bit of its success to its wrestlers. The company has been able to establish such a fan base due to having such impressive wrestling available. There are also several wrestlers who are more known for how they look and act rather than what they do in the ring and now we know more about one of them.

According to PWInsider.com, despite not being seen on AEW television in several months, Danhausen remains under AEW contract but is not being used by the company at the moment. There is no word on when he will be returning to AEW TV. Danhausen has not wrestled since December 30, 2023, when he was in a battle royal on the World’s End Zero house show.

Opinion: I’m curious as to why Danhausen has not been used in almost six months, as it would seem like there are very few people with his set of skills. The fans are going to react to him no matter what he is doing and that is something AEW would seem likely to be interested in presenting. Maybe there is something else going on, but for now it remains a rather odd situation.
