He’ll be back. Despite not being the biggest part of the WWE structure, NXT UK has become quite the weekly television show. The show has quite the talented roster and has become a rather interesting show, with the core group of wrestlers becoming near must see action whenever they are in a bit match. However, one of the original stars of the show is going to be taking some time off.

A good bit of NXT UK’s success can be attributed to the trio collectively known as British Strong Styles. The three wrestlers, Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne and Trent Seven, combined to become the core of NXT UK and the people who could seemingly do no wrong in the ring. That remained the case for a good while, even while the three of them started to go their separate ways. Now one of them might not be around for a bit.

This week on NXT UK, Seven announced that he was taking time away from the promotion to “fix stuff”. This comes after Seven lost in the finals of the NXT UK Heritage Cup tournament on the November 26 episode, which is what brought on his announcement. There is no word on why Seven is taking time away from the ring or how long he will be gone.

It’s kind of a big move. Check out the announcement and some of Seven’s in-ring work:

Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on with Seven but hopefully he is back in the ring sooner rather than later. Despite being thirty nine years old, Seven is still one of the better performers in NXT UK. Maybe he is banged up or maybe this is just a storyline development, but it is not great to see anyone having to be put on the shelf, even if it is for a short time.

What do you think of Seven? What should he do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
