Mix it up a bit. NXT Takeover has become one of the most surefire bets in all of wrestling with almost nothing even resembling a bad show. They are able to come together and serve as some of the best wrestling shows in all the world. That has been the case throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and should be throughout the rest of the year, though the schedule is changing a bit.

The Coronavirus has shaken things up for WWE as a whole but they are doing what they can to get back to normal. One of the biggest changes that they have made is moving into the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida as their main home. NXT however has stayed at Full Sail University, which has made for a rather odd setup between the two shows. That is going to cause a difference in the way the Takeover schedule works, including for one of the biggest shows of the year.

According to PWInsider.com, NXT has changed up its traditional Takeover schedule for the remainder of the year. At the moment, the next scheduled Takeover will take place on Sunday October 4 and the following will come on December 6. There will be no Takeover over Survivor Series weekend, which has been a tradition over the show’s weekend since 2016.

The Survivor Series show has a history. Check out how it has gone before:

Opinion: I’m not sure what the point is in changing something like this out, but it’s kind of hard to get annoyed at the changes being made when there are so many things going on at once. If nothing else it is nice to have NXT on its own, as the promotion works incredibly well on its own instead of being part of the big story with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown. I’m sure what we are going to get will work out well enough, and that’s because NXT has figured out a way to make the big shows work.

What do you think of the schedule? When should Takeover be held? Let us know in the comments below.
