Twice as nice. We are on the Road to WrestleMania 37 and that means a lot of the schedule is already set up. With so many things already taken care of, there are still a few things left to cover. Since WrestleMania has evolved from just a single wrestling show into a full on weekend, there are several other things to cover. That is the case again, as another show might be growing.

NXT has gone from a bonus feature over WrestleMania 31 weekend in 2015 when the promotion ran a non-televised live event to almost ever year featuring a Takeover special. That was not the case in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic but things have changed a bit since then. Now that the situation is getting a bit better, NXT might be open to doing a much bigger idea.

According to PWInsider.com, there is a possibility of the next NXT Takeover, which is scheduled for Thursday April 8, to run over two nights, with the fight night airing on April 7. This would be the first ever two night Takeover event. WWE has yet to confirm the idea, nor have they confirmed that the Takeover will be held in the first place. News of the show broke earlier this week.

Takeover has quite the reputation. Check out what NXT could be presenting:

Most epic TakeOver entrances: NXT Top 5, June 24, 2018

Emotional TakeOver title wins: NXT Top 5, March 31, 2019

Opinion: If you’re going to do a WrestleMania weekend, you might as well pack everything you can into the whole thing. I’m not sure what that is going to entail but we could be in for a heck of a fun schedule. Hopefully WWE gets this right, though the amount of success that Takeover has enjoyed over the years would give me quite a bit of confidence in anything they are going to try.
