AEW’s Rush has announced that he suffered a torn hamstring at some point in his second match in the Continental Classic. This would have been his November 29 match against Mark Briscoe, though Rush completed the tournament as well as an eight man tag at Worlds End. There is no word on when he will be back in the ring, though he did promise to return “ready and hungrier than ever”.

Rush is a star when he is in the ring. Check out some of his efforts:
Opinion: You see this kind of thing happen every so often and unfortunately Rush is going to be out of action for awhile. Rush did well during his time in the tournament and now we have to wait to see his next big thing. For now at least he is already on the mend, though it could take some time to get him back in the ring with such a serious injury. The fact that he finished the tournament is impressive enough, as that is a heck of a nasty injury to deal with while in the ring.
What does this mean for Rush? What should he do when he returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
