According to Sean Ross Sapp in a Fightful Select Q&A podcast by way of Cagesideseats.com, Cardona has been telling people that he has not signed with AEW and will not be doing so at the moment. It is not clear if Cardona was offered a contract with the company.
Cardona has done well in these parts. Check out what he has done in the promotions:
Opinion: This is where things can get interesting, as Cardona popping in every so often can make things all the more interesting. At the end of the day, he doesn’t need to sign with AEW or Ring Of Honor if he doesn’t want to and that might be the case here. He might just want to stick around the independent circuit and have the freedom that comes with it, as that system has certainly worked well for him so far.
What do you think of Cardona’s time in the promotions? Where would he fit in best? Let us know in the comments below.
